| The Annual Gala The Camp Koinonia Annual Gala is an exciting evening dedicated to celebrating and supporting Camp Koinonia. In addition to fine food and drink, music and entertainment, the gala provides an opportunity for the community to help the camp financially. We feature various ways to contribute including a silent auction, a live auction, and raffles. 2008 Camp Koinonia Foundation Gala You'll also get a chance to meet with all those who support the foundation including parents of campers, our corporate sponsors, Dr. Hayes and his University of Tennessee Department of Exercise, Sport, and Leisure Studies team, and Camp Koinonia Foundation board members. Our next gala is scheduled for June 2009 at the Kerbela Temple. Plan on joining us! The Third Annual Bruce Pearl Golf Tournament Fore the Kids This event was held August 2008 at the Gettsyvue Golf Course and County Club. The University of Tennessee Head Basketball Coach, Bruce Pearl, chaired and attended this event. The Golf Tournament was very successful and the 4th Annual Bruce Pearl Tournament will be announced soon. Check here for more details. The Annual Motorcycle Charity Ride and Poker Run The motorcycle ride is held July each year and includes about 100 motorcycle riders. The event includes the single and double riders going through four counties and making five "poker" stops. A special thanks to our sponsors for this event!
